  1. I suffer from an as yet unnamed condition that makes me blind
  2. to typos, word omissions, and spelling errors when they're
  3. mapped as growing pixels on a computer monitor.  But the moment
  4. those screen fonts are dumped onto paper, they arise from
  5. the printed sheet as a mighty buzzing horde to assail me.
  6. There is no cure for this dreadful affliction other than to
  7. proofread again and again.  And still they come in even greater
  8. numbers than when less careful.  A high quality monitor does
  9. nothing to help.  Luckily it's not contageous; there are still
  10. a few who are prepared to shake me by the hand.
